Web sites like ours do cost money to maintain, and the number of donations over the web usually do not keep up with the costs of web site development and maintenance. Our purpose is to provide helpful information at no-to-low cost to the Internet community.

Note for large donations:

In some cases, your bank may require that your donation be split into smaller amounts, possibly on separate days.

This limit is set by your bank in relation to our credit card processor, PayPal. The threshold amount varies by bank. But some donors have encountered a limit around $500 using a valid credit card.
